| Shift Linkage Modifications All "SX" and "Dual Prop" | |
Some boat operators have complained of what may appear to be delayed engagement of the shift system. This condition can be caused by excessive clearance in the vertical drive shift linkage. To correct this condition. you must reduce clearance at the bellcrank lever pivot point "a" and the shift link pivot point "b", to utilize all available shift cable movement. This can be done by adding two additional washers, P/N 3852083, "c" on the bellcrank lever shaft and a spacer, P/N 3857304, "d" on the shift link pivot point at the bellcrank lever. |
