Some power steering applications exhibit a noticeable back and forth movement in the steering wheel. This is a result of excessive clearance between the steering cable brake and the steering cable. Check the steering system for a loose cable nut and proper cable routing. If there is still excessive clearance between the steering cable brake and the steering cable, install End Cap Kit, P/N 3857293. This kit has been released to eliminate lost motion in this area. The kit consists of a new collar and cable brake. |
