1992 (AMH) and Newer 4.3 Litre Incorrect torque is listed in Service Manual (1) The torque listed in the service manuals which cover the screw-in rocker arm studs with positive stop shoulders is incorrect. The service manual states to pivot rocker arms in place, and then tighten nuts to 40 ft. Ibs. (54 N·m). The text should read, tighten the nuts (a) to 20 ft. Ibs. (27 N·m). Please make this correction to the appropriate service manuals. |
